The rate slides from $37.38 to $33.32 as the commitment grows. Commitment is rewarded; nothing is discounted. Every rung costs less per credit than the rung below it and less than topping up, so the month your list reaches the next number, the next plan is the cheaper way to buy it — and we say so when it happens.
What a credit buys

The comparison isn't an hourly rate. It's the hire you were about to make.
A fractional executive or an agency retainer for the same seat runs $3,000–$6,000 a month, before you've scoped anything. Frac 5 is $1,399 for forty credits, and you can drop to Frac 1 in a light month without a conversation about it.
