How credits work

FOUR SIZES. That's the whole system.

Everything costs credits, one credit is about an hour of expert work, and credits refill monthly. You see the size before anything starts, every time.

Your to-do list, done by senior people, for credits. The calculator prices each item as a fixed credit amount, so the quote is the same no matter who runs the meeting.

The four sizes

no quotes · no hourly rates
The four sizes, to scale one cell = one credit
  • Quick fix 1 No decisions required. A typo, a phone number, opening hours, a photo swapped, a dead link, a price changed.
  • Update 2 One contained change to something that already exists. A supplied post published, a testimonial added, form fields tweaked, a redirect, a bio updated, a team member added.
  • New piece 5 Something new, built from patterns already on the site. A page from an existing template, a new section, a speed pass, SEO fixes, analytics, a simple integration.
  • Build 12 Something new that needs design decisions and review. A custom page, a landing page, a designed piece, an admin view, a custom function.
  • Bigger than a Build A new site, a redesign, a migration, a whole feature system. Never a credit spend — it becomes a fixed-scope quote, and the conversation is free.

When something sits between two sizes we take the smaller one. Under-sizing costs us a few hours. Over-sizing costs you trust in the number, which is worth more.

A credit is one unit of expert work, about an hour as the baseline, which is why a Quick fix is one of them. Some asks don't land cleanly on a row — those go through the calculator and come back priced in credits anyway, so there is still one currency and still one number.

Not sure which row yours is? Say it plainly.

$39Extra creditMembers and subscribers. $49 a-la-carte. Always asked first, never auto-charged.
1 mo.Then they expireCredits are a monthly allowance, not a bank. Top up when it runs heavy, drop a rung when it runs light.
$0Urgent workAnything broken, any plan, any month. It never touches the balance.

Every plan comes with credits included. How many depends on the plan, and those numbers live in one place — the pricing page — so they can't drift out of step with what you're actually billed.

When the list is bigger than the month

  1. We carry it

If the overflow is small and nothing is time-sensitive, the lowest-priority items move to next month's list at no charge. The work waits; the credits themselves don't carry, so next month's allowance pays for it.

  2. You add credits

If it can't wait, extra credits are $39 as a member or subscriber and $49 a-la-carte. You see the number and click before anything starts.

  3. You move up

If the list has overflowed two months in three, we say so and show the arithmetic. A month of overage usually costs more than the bigger plan does.

Twenty credits in one email — inside Run's forty, and four over Jog's sixteen. The first four start immediately; the pricing work waits for a call or moves to next month's list. You choose which, and you choose before anything is spent.
