About
A SMALL COMPANY in Des Moines.
Fracs LLC is founder-led and stays that way on purpose. You get the person who decides, not an account manager between you and them.
What this is
A whole team behind one list, for people who don't want six more people and don't want to keep doing it themselves.
The buyer we built this for is doing $250K to $2M, runs the business and also runs the website, the deck, the follow-up and the pricing. Not because those are the best use of the day, but because there is nobody else to do them.
So the product is a list and a number: your to-do list, done by senior people, for credits. You type what's on your plate, it comes back sized and priced before anything starts, and then it gets done. No scoping calls, no proposals, no $5K minimums, and no hourly rate to argue about afterwards. One credit is about an hour of expert work, and the promise underneath it is plain: give us the list of things you don't want to do. Ninety per cent of it we can do, or place with someone vetted — and when we can't, we'll tell you straight.
Fracs is for everyone. Any founder, any gender, any state. Our sister company Tangram is the women-only one, and saying so is easier than letting people work it out.
The company is in Des Moines and most of the work is remote. Being in the same time zone matters more than being in the same building, so clients are wherever they are. The invoice comes from Iowa, and there is a person here whose name is on it.
The rules we work by
- You see the price first
Every request comes back sized before anything starts. Nothing is charged without a click, and nothing arrives as a surprise at the end of the month.
- Placement is in, authorship is out
We publish what you supply as ordinary work. When words or images have to be made, it starts with a conversation with us rather than a blank page sent to you.
- Broken things are free
Anything urgent or down costs nothing on any plan, in any month. Charging for emergencies would make us slower to answer them.
- We'll tell you when it isn't worth doing
The advice to skip something is free and reasonably common. A vendor who only ever says yes is a vendor being paid to agree with you.
- The specialists stay independent
Specialists deliver the standing functions at their own rate and own the relationship. Our fee is for scoping, briefing and managing them, and it's built into one flat number.
- You own everything
Files, accounts, domains, code. If you leave, you leave with all of it and we hand it over properly.
The name on the invoice
founder-led · and staying that way
One person decides here, and that is the whole point. The specialists who deliver the standing functions stay independent and keep their own names — you deal with us, and we deal with them.
