The books are for you. The IRS gets a copy.
Numbers you don’t look at can’t help you. Clean books are for the Tuesday you check whether you can afford the new hire, the equipment, the month off, and get a real answer.
The bookkeeping itself runs through our vendor bench of professional bookkeepers. What we add is the layer you actually read: a monthly note in plain language, and a flag when something moves that shouldn’t.
Vendor work is priced before you say yes. You see the number first, always. The plain-language layer on top is a monthly Update (2 credits), which sits inside Walk's eight with room for the rest of the month.
Everything else gets sized in credits: a quick fix is 1, an update 2, a new piece 5, a build 12. You always see the size before anything starts.
Run out mid-month? Credits are $39 each as a member ($49 without). We always ask first, and nothing is surprise-billed. One credit is about an hour of senior work, and credits expire at the end of the month. Embedded and Partner start at $3,999 a month and are quoted as capacity. Every plan cancels in one email.
So is half of everyone. Catch-up is a one-time, priced-first project; then the monthly rhythm keeps it from ever piling up again.
No. Clean monthly books make your accountant faster and cheaper at tax time. If you don’t have one, we’ll introduce you; introductions are free.
Access is granted by you, scoped to what the work needs, and revocable any time. No access, no work. Same rule as everything else here.
